Roy Bible Church

Youth Ministry

Mission statement:

Roy Bible Church Youth Ministry exists to glorify God by helping young people (6th – 8th and 9th - 12th grades) to grow in their Christian faith and to develop a passion to be a committed disciple of Jesus Christ.  We accomplish this mission through the means of prayer, Bible study, fellowship, evangelism, and worship. We take seriously our responsibility to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind, and to love your neighbor as yourself” (Matt 22:37-39).  Always remembering that we are the “salt” and “light” to the community we live in (Matt 5:13-16)

As disciples of Jesus Christ, we are committed to--

·        acknowledging  Jesus Christ as Lord of our life each day;

·        having a regular quiet time of prayer and Bible study;

·        being faithful and supporting our church in attendance and stewardship;

·        attending all group sessions unless providentially hindered;

·        keeping in confidence anything that others share in the group sessions;

·        loving and encouraging each group member;

·        submitting ourselves to others willingly in accountability;

·        sharing our faith with others;

·        becoming a discipler of others as God gives opportunities.
